"Kew Gardens Fashion House" Year 1 Project 3

This project, created during my Level 3 Art and Design course, focuses on flora paired with fashion garment design/construction. The aim was to take inspiration from Kew Gardens and to experiment with different types of outcomes to then influence a final group project where we had to design, construct and then model a paper dress reflecting our inspiration from the wildlife at Kew Gardens . Using various types of experimentation and previous experience in fashion design I helped contribute to the groups design and constructed the skirt half of the dress where I created 100s of paper origami style flowers to embellish the skirt, I also created a headpiece and modeled the final dress for the group.
