"Letterforms" Year 1 Project 1

This project, created during my first year of my Level 3 Art and Design course, focuses on the use of letterforms and typography, as this was my first project within the course it was used largely as an introduction to a wide range of artistic medias e.g., 3D modeling, texturing, print making, graphic design, painting, etc. The aim was to get a feel for these different kinds of medias and then go forward with the research and experience I had gained to create a final piece of my choosing using the media I enjoyed most and to include some type of letterforms to tie it into my experimentation. I chose to create my final piece using a graphic illustration software called procreate in the end, as this was the area of media I enjoyed most.
