Here, you’ll find an overview of the art competitions I’ve participated in. Additionally, highlights of some of the commissioned pieces I’ve completed for clients over the years.

St John's "NEW LIFE" Easter Art Competition

POSITION: First Place Winner

The brief for this competition was as follows... "Submit any piece of artwork of your creation inspired by the theme of NEW LIFE and what that means to you, this can be any form of art (photography, animation, paining, sculpture etc...) and will be displayed amongst our gallery, there will be a children's category and an adults category. So get as creative as you like!" I created my graphic illustration of a snow drop blooming into a new season and submitted it alongside the speed paint showing the process of drawing it.

Discord Community Art Competition "Whimsical Woods"

POSITION: First Place Winner

The brief for this competition was as follows... "Bring the forest to life! Create a magical, whimsical world in the woods where animals, plants, trees, and nature come together in a playful, quirky, or fantastical way. Whether it's a forest inhabited by dancing trees, a secret woodland creature party, or a forest full of talking mushrooms and mischievous squirrels, let your imagination run wild!" So I submitted a selection of my favorite pages from my children's book Finn and the Hidden Forest.

Discord Community Art Competition "Fluid Masterpieces"

POSITION: Second Place

The brief for this competition was as follows "Join the Fluid Masterpieces competition and showcase your creativity with the mesmerizing technique of Acrylic Paint Pouring. Let the colors flow, blend, and create stunning abstract art. Whether you’re a seasoned pour artist or a curious beginner, this competition is all about experimenting, exploring fluidity, and having fun with color." I had never tried this style of painting before so I was eager to try it out and learn, I created my piece inspired by the ocean with touches of gold.
